Curling

Curling is a team sport played on ice, where players slide stones on a rectangular sheet towards a target area, known as the house, which is marked with concentric circles. Each team consists of four players, and the objective is to position the stones as close as possible to the center of the target while also attempting to knock the opposing team’s stones away. Players use brooms to sweep the ice in front of the moving stone, which influences its speed and direction. Curling requires strategy, precision, and teamwork, and it is known for its emphasis on sportsmanship and camaraderie among competitors. The sport is played both recreationally and competitively, with national and international championships taking place, including events in the Winter Olympics.
